Enjoy an early start to your active day with a wholesome breakfast on our stoep that has spectacular views of our gardens and Table Mountain. If you would like to have specific healthy options for your breakfast, just inform us before you check in and we will be sure to cater to your needs.
Walk Through the Vineyards
Take a leisurely stroll through the vineyards on our property and soak up some vitamin D. Admire the nature surrounding you and perhaps taste some of our grapes before they are harvested.
Lunch at The Country Restaurant
The Country Restaurant is situated on the outskirts of Stellenbosch on a family-owned farm. They offer a variety of foods from healthy salads to burgers and pizza, so there’s sure to be something for everyone. The farm also boasts a micro-brewery where guests can enjoy some delicious craft beers.
Horseback Riding at Silvermist Equestrian
Resident on the Hawksmoor House farm Matjeskuil, Silvermist Equestrian offer a range of trail rides, lessons & horse riding parties/functions with various riding times for young and old, families, couples or groups. A scenic experience on the trails through the vineyards on the farm.
Dinner at Gino’s
Gino’s is a local institution in Stellenbosch, all of the locals love an authentic Italian wood-fired pizza from here. They also have other amazing Italian dishes on their menu that is worth a try. For healthier options, they make great banting and wheat free bases for their pizzas.

Enjoy a tasty breakfast at our famous antique Manor House table. Our team will prepare you a hearty selection of cold and hot foods for you to enjoy with your morning cup of coffee.
Spier Vineyard Segway Tour
Just on the outskirts of Stellenbosch lays the famous Spier Wine Estate, they offer a variety of different activities on the farm, one of the most popular being their Segway Tours. This is a truly different way to tour around the farm and see all that they have to offer, it’s a great experience for people of all ages.
Picnic Lunch at Spier
After your Segway tour, you can head over to their deli and pick up a picnic basket and sit on their lush lawns whilst you enjoy their delicious spread. They also offer Vegan and Vegetarian picnic baskets if that’s what you’re looking for.
Evening Walk at Coetzenburg
Coetzenburg is located just above the Stellenbosch University sports fields and once you get up the hill, it has spectacular views over the whole of Stellenbosch.
Dinner at the Manor House
Return to your home away from home for the night and enjoy a delicious meal prepared for you by our team. If you’re too tired after your weekend of activities, dinner can also be brought to your room for you to enjoy privately.
