Resident on the Hawksmoor House farm Matjeskuil, Silvermist Equestrian offer a range of trail rides, lessons & horse riding parties/functions with various riding times for young and old, families, couples or groups. A scenic horseback experience on the trails through the vineyards on the farm.

Silvermist Equestrian is located on the Matjieskuil Farm within walking distance from the Hawksmoor Manor House. Silvermist Equestrian offers outrides for Hawksmoor House guests at R380 per rider

Tuesdays: 11am
Wednesdays: 9am & 11am
Thursday: 9:30am & 11am
Fridays: 9:30am & 11am
Sundays: 9:30am, 11am & 2pm

Horse Riding Birthday Party| Team Building | Function Options:

Both of these have 2 price options

30 minute 10 years & under or beginners – R215 per rider 10% off all services if one person makes bulk payments for everyone
60 minutes for above 10 years and experience riders & or beginners – R360 per rider 10% off all services if one person makes bulk payments for everyone

Both of these are:

90 minutes – R570 per rider 10% off all services if one person makes bulk payments for everyone

Horse riding parties on Sundays and week mornings from Tuesday-Friday only, for up to 10 people.

The ride will go as follows:

The 1st group will have a lesson first, teaching them the basics. After the lesson, they will go on a fun trail ride on our beautiful farm.

The 2nd group will then have their lesson, after the 1st group. The 2nd group will also then have a fun trail ride on our farm.

General:

Riders are to wear comfortable long pants (preferably without a hard seam on the inside of the leg)
Closed shoes with preferably with a blocked heel (e.g.; school shoes or a boot, Not high heels)
A riding Helmet (Helmets are available at the yard, but if you have a helmet that sits securely, please bring it along).
